Stand Together campaign ends March 31st

As a California Optometric Association member, you are our biggest advocate and the best resource to grow membership. Please join us in the Stand Together 2014 Membership Campaign and help grow COA. The larger our membership, the more we can do together to advocate for our profession and better serve patients.

Stand Together ends until March 31, 2014.

Doctors of optometry are facing unprecedented changes to the delivery of eye care—ACA, ICD-10 and reimbursement. The list goes on and on. Through it all, your association is advocating on your behalf and keeping you informed and prepared. That is why, now more than ever, membership in the association is critical for the profession and your practice. In order to continue to be successful, it is important to get EVERY optometrist more involved and it’s why COA has developed the Stand Together 2014 Membership Campaign.

The Stand Together campaign is unlike anything COA has done before. Rather than just the membership committee and local societies being the main forces behind new members joining the association, it utilizes members like you! After all, we know that our greatest advocates for the association are our members who know and reap the benefits.

During this campaign, members who successfully recruit a non-member to join COA will receive:

$100 off their 2014 dues.*

More is better...

$100 off for 1 new member

$225 off for 2 new members

$375 off for 3 new members

$550 off for 4 new members

$750 off for 5 new members

• Annual dues waived for 6 or more new members

*Members cannot earn more than their 2014 COA dues billed

Plus, Vision West, COA’s Preferred Eyecare Business Group, will award FREE 2015 COA DUES to the three members who recruit the most over five members; those doctors will also be recognized at COA’s 2015 House of Delegates meeting.

As an additional incentive, each newly recruited member will receive half off their registration to
COA’s
OptoWest 2014, April 3-6, in Indian Wells, CA.

It’s recommended that you invite your new members to OptoWest so they can meet the COA leadership, take part in four days of continuing education courses, and witness first-hand the efforts of COA.

We ask that you help inform non-member colleagues of all the benefits of membership that COA, AOA and your local society offer. Share the benefits of membership listed in the "Return on Investment" brochure found in the member benefits presentation HERE, and on the COA website, www.coavision.org, as you reach out to potential members.
