Group Health Insurance – A Bumpy Ride Ahead?

It’s all over the headlines: it could be a bumpy ride in the next year or so for your health insurance! You are not alone. It costs nothing to make a switch and most of you do not need to change your health plan. Follow these three easy steps:

1. If you have Kaiser, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, United Healthcare, Aetna or California Choice (the private healthcare exchange) simply paste the letter here on your letterhead – you do not need to change your plan.

2. Fill in the needed information, e.g., your policy number, insurance company and name of your practice, and sign it.

3. Fax it to Mercer at 213-346-5946, or mail it to: Mercer, Attn.: Association Department, 777 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90017.

OR

Fax or mail to Mercer your policy number, insurance company, and practice name and Mercer will prepare for you a signature-ready broker of record letter for submission to your current insurance company or HMO appointing Mercer as your broker of record.

By changing your broker to Mercer, you also help support your association, COA.
