FFT9 - Dinner Program - Deal or No Deal? The Grand Rounds of Successful Practice Sales Using Real Case Studies

This course is designed for optometrists who are considering selling or buying an optometric practice using several real case studies (of actual practice sales) in an interactive format. We will discuss today’s market including sales to individuals as well as private equity groups.  Participants will interact with three experts including an attorney, licensed broker and lender to discuss the pros and cons of each practice sale case study presented.  Each case study is based on actual sales without names or locations. We will discuss the merits of each sale with participants voting “Deal or No Deal” for each case.  We will explore all aspects of a sale including price and value, negotiations, documentation and agreements, lease concerns and obtaining a loan.
