Get paid to be an SBO Subject Matter Expert

Get paid $100 per day to take part in an opportunity to contribute to the profession of optometry. The State Board of Optometry (SBO) seeks doctors of optometry to serve as subject matter experts at workshops to develop, review and grade the California Law and Regulation Examination (CLRE). You will have the opportunity to meet ODs from around the state and this service is a great opportunity to bolster your résumé. Many experts find the experience very rewarding and choose to return year after year. New licensees - five years or less - are encouraged to apply to ensure the entry-level perspective is maintained.
