Covered California Blue Shield PPO providers

Blue Shield PPO providers are not automatically Covered California Blue Shield PPO providers. There are a small number of doctors who may not be listed as providers on a Covered California Blue Shield PPO plan for a variety of reasons. A few of these reasons include having an older contract that did not have any language about the health care exchange or not selecting a particular option for your contract. If you are unsure if you are contracted to be a provider for a Covered California Blue Shield PPO plan, please contact Blue Shield's contracting division at 1-800-258-3091 and select option three when you hear the prompts.
