Eye-training computer program may restore some sight to glaucoma patients

In the study, the "daily vision workouts restored a significant degree of sight to a group of glaucoma patients by taking advantage of the brain’s talent for learning new tricks." The research team discovered that the "visual workout" for the 30 patients involved in the study improved "visual field defects by upwards of 20 percent in a matter of months."
