Serving Those Who Serve the Country - on Veterans Day and Beyond

And in California, another COA/AOA member decided to do something special to serve the nation’s veterans.

Kristi Davis, O.D. of Redding, Calif., chose to provide free eye care to veterans throughout the month of November. Not all veterans are eligible for VA eye exams, and Dr. Davis wanted to fill the gap with comprehensive eye exams.

Nationwide, AOA members share similar stories of continued support. And so as the nation honors its veterans this month, the AOA wants to remind members of the importance of providing essential eye care to these vets.
