Eligibility
To be eligible for the program, you must submit an application with a $10 non-refundable administrative fee (PER PERSON). Cash or money order only. And you must meet the following criteria to qualify for a free eye exam and glasses:

Individuals must meet the following criteria to qualify for a free eye exam and glasses:
- Applicants household is low-income and are unable to pay for eye care. (based on household's annual gross income for the current year)
- The individual(s) applying cannot have any government or private insurance (including Medi-Cal, Covered California or Medicare) that covers eye exams.
- It has been at least 2 years since your last eye exam.
- Must reside it the state of California.
