COA 'Town Hall' meetings this fall

COA representatives from Sacramento are traveling to numerous COA societies this fall and early 2016 to present “town hall” meetings providing an update on government affairs issues and COA-AOA membership services. The most important aspect of these meetings is to gain feedback from you, the membership, on COA activities. Among the topics to be covered are:

• The provisions of SB 622, the COA-sponsored scope expansion bill, and grassroots activities needed to win its passage.
• A review of AB 684, relating to the practice of optometry in retail settings.
• An update on COA-AOA membership programs and services that provide a healthy return on your dues investment.
