Dr. Fred Dubick appointed to the State Board of Optometry

Sacramento, CA.   Fred Dubick, OD, MBA, FAAO has been appointed by Governor Jerry Brown to the State Board of Optometry.

Dr. Dubick treats patients at Studio Eyes Optometry in Burbank and serves as president-elect of the California Optometric Association (COA) – a statewide nonprofit dedicated to providing quality eye health care.

During his career, Dr. Dubick has volunteered in many capacities, including as a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) Disaster Preparation Project Team and as chief of eye care services for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee. He has also served as a charter member of the AOA Contact Lens Section and president of the San Fernando Valley Optometric Society.

Dr. Dubick is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He also attended the University of Redlands, where he earned an MBA that included global business studies at Cambridge University and the MBA Institute in Paris, France.
